Exploring various elements of design through hand-rendering and construction technique

Diagramming Texture
First obtained by charcoal rubbings of natural sources and usage of materials like dirt, these textures were translated using pencil and line work to recreate the base linear and abstract structure of such elements

Change Over Time
Often over looked as only a weed, the dandelion is frequently seen growing and alive, never dead or decaying. This project examines the different features of the flower, from the stem structure to the edges of petals as they decay over the period of two weeks.

Carved from a flat and linear landscape, this sample of abstract art was put through three iterations, each time with the design continuing to form from inorganic to organic.
